Can a VT Advantage SCCP endpoint call directly to a Polycom H323 endpoint with no MCU resources(VC3511/3540)in the network?

If that answer is yes, can the VT Advantage endpoint be part of a multipoint conference hosted on a Polycom H323 endpoint with MCU capability?

I am trying to do a low-budget pilot, and the cost of MCUs is a killer, especially since you can't mix skinny and H323 on a 3511.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Yes,

A VT Advantage with SCCP can call any other H.323 endpoint and video can pass (as long as the H.323 endpoint supports H.263 video, the only video codec the VTA supports). The only problem I have seen with other video endpoints is that they can be slow with video codec negotiation.

Thanks
