We have mis-confiugred etherchannel at the 6509 switch.
One side is 6509, the other sides are PC hosts.
We configured etherchannel at the 6509 switch, but would not configure at host
side.
In that case, we found the other host mac address connected to the port, which was configured for etherchannel.
This reason is mis-configured etherchannel?

Hi,
Didnot get your problem exactly. A brief problem discription with devices used would be handy.Did you use 2 6509 switches for ether-channel. Was the channel configured between servers with dual NICS with LACP support and the 6509. Was the channel configured using a server dual nic across multiple chassis.
Explain it with configurations... thanks..

We have 1 6509 switch, and servers have one NICS. 6509 supports LACP.
one 6509 ---- server

Hi,
Why you wan to setup that design ?
Looking at your post, I see that you are trying to setup an ether-channel between a 6509 and 2 diff servers. I have a doubt on this design and I am afraid to tell that this will not work. 6509 will never load-balance on this setup. Ether-channel will work only if you have a server with dual NIC connected to 6509 and that supports LACP.
