Route Filter, Route Pattern Question

We have a route pattern 9.@ with a route filter of Local Office Codes:

END-OF-DIALING DOES-NOT-EXIST AND OFFICE-CODE == 554) OR

(END-OF-DIALING DOES-NOT-EXIST AND OFFICE-CODE == 444) OR

(OFFICE-CODE == 443 AND END-OF-DIALING DOES-NOT-EXIST) OR

(OFFICE-CODE == 898 AND END-OF-DIALING DOES-NOT-EXIST)

If a user dials 94438981 there is a interdigit timeout...I understnd this is because Call manager picks up the 898 as a office code and it waiting for 3 more digits...even if I change the Route Filter to Area Code does not exist I still get the interdigit timeout...is there a way to resolve this issue...

Hi Joe,

You need to add LOCAL AREA CODE does not exit to that filter.

That appeared to have worked....Does the Local Area code not exist tell it that it is only 7 digit dialing? I had added that the area code does not exist but not the Local Area code...

That is correct when you use that option you are restricting to dial 7-digit Local calls

YYY - XXX - XXXX , YYY is the Local Area Code

1 ZZZ - XXX - XXXX ZZZ is the Area Code
