Hello,

i have configured nbar on a vlan-interface at a cisco switch 6509. There is cef activated, too. My problem is, that there is only incoming-traffic but no outgoing traffic recognized.

Does anyone has an idea?

Hello,

now I self found the answer. I forgot to activate the route-cache (in this case I used cef) at the inbound interface. Now the packets were not process-switched an can be recognized by nbar.

Is that explanation right? Anyhow I have the function working I want it.

Regards

Daniel

Hello Daniel,

that would indeed make sense, NBAR requires CEF...

Regards,

GP
