Hi,
we have a huge LAN which we need to separate in Different VLAN's. But would like to use some way of Dynamic VLAN.
Does any of you have any experience with 802.1x? Which tool can we use to manage it?

I have two documents which actually speaks about IEEE 802.1x authentication.I think these douments will help you a lot.
Here are those two documents.

Hello,
there have been some issues with 802.1x and Microsoft Windows 2000. It happened that a person was logging on and got a VLAN assigned. After logging off the assignment was not cleared, i.e. the next person logging on found the same environment again and could not access his applications. The reason was an error in the MS implementation.
So I would recommend you to get a lab setup to test each OS in use and the compatibility. There are also Software 802.1x clients you could install, but with a huge LAN there are considerable license fees.
Hope this helps! Please rate all posts.

I have found that Funk Software's Odyssey Client does well with wired 802.1x installed on Microsoft. I have been testing it now for several months. You can create preconfigured installation packages for ease of deployment to the user community.
