I am installing a Unity box for a German customer. Distribution have shipped German language disks for the install.

As I don't speak German is it possible for me to install the Message Store / Data Store & Unity using English disks & just enable German prompts once installed - or will the underlying software being in English cause me problems subsequently ?

TIA,

Paul.

English is installed regardless - you can also install German (or any other language you like). When you're done installing, just setup German as your default TUI/TTS language (the GUI language is seperate) and remember to configure your subscriber templates to have it selected.

You can install as many languages as you like, but you can only have a number of languages "active" as you have on the license you bought. So if you got two languages you can only make active two that you want no matter how many are available to select from. But installing them wont hurt anything...
