3rd party Options:

Solarwinds

http://www.solarwinds.net

Statseeker

http://www.statseeker.com

Cisco options:

http://www.cisco.com/go/ciscoworks

I use both Solarwinds and Ciscoworks. Each does its own thing pretty well. Solarwinds is good at basic and easy network monitoring and alterting. Ciscoworks is good at software and configuration management.

Hope this helps.
