I want to add a new module to the CatOS. This is a Live Catalyst. Please can you tell me how to go about it.

Also can I do it live as in I do not have to power down the Switch to add in this new blade.

Is there documentation as to how to do this?

Thanks for your help

You should be able to insert the module while the system is up and running. You may want to consider doing it during non-peak hours if possible just in case you run into a problem. Otherwise just slide it into an empty slot and configure as needed.

See this site for addtional info.

Hope this helps.
