Error Adding new PRI

Unanswered Question

I've just tried installing a new PRI into my 3745 voice gateway, after configuring the switch-type and line code I tried entering the "pri-group timeslots 1-24" command and I'm receiving this error.

3745(config-controller)#pri-group timeslots 1-24

% Not enough DSP resources available to configure pri-group on

controller T1 0/0

% The remaining dsp resources are enough for 0 time slots.

% For current codec complexity, 6 extra dsp(s) are required to create

this voice

port."

Any ideas would be great.

What type of controller hardware are you using?

Did you configure network-clock-participate on the router for clocking, you won't be able to build a PRI group unless you got the clocking.

You probably have reached the maximum of your available DSP channels and will need to add a new PVDMXX to support the PRI.
