Using 1300 with Yagi

hi to all

I am stuck in a problem, we have a aironet 1300 series with yagi antenna we get the response but it was very hi i.e 1500 msec

Can any body tell me wat can i do to decrease the response time. as the distance to main branch is 5Km.

Please help me regarding this issue.

It's likely to be an interference issue. The interference is (probably) causing a high nuber of re-transmits.

Try lowering your RTS threshold.

Try other channels.

Verify that your antennas are optimally aimed.

If none of the above works, you may need to switch to a parabolic (dish) antenna(s) - they have a tighter pattern for transmit and receive and perhaps you can exclude or reduce the interfering signal.
