I have a user that says her voicemails are being saved even before she opens it up in her email or listen to it on her phone. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

One scenario in which this will happen is a user using POP mail. When a POP email client, pulls mail from the server, the messages are marked as "read" even if they have never been opened in the client.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Hi,
The user actually isn't using pop. She's set up to use Exchange Server.
Would there be any reason that her VMs will be saved if she really has never read them in Outlook or from her voicemail?
I'm beginning to suspect that she inadvertantly clicked on the email in outlook but didn't open the wav file or listened to the msg on her phone but this marks her VM as being checked and then subsequently saved.
