Greetings,

I've been trying to look for anything relating to this over the Internet, but could not find anything.

Is it possible to map MAC addresses to certain ports/interfaces on a PIX, if so, can someone please point me to the right direction?

Thank you,

Lee

Hi

AFAIK there is no method by which you can bind a mac address to ports/interfaces. Kindly update me about your specific requirement, so I could try to find a workaround.

Hi,

My other option was to lock down MAC addresses on the switch level. I was just curious if it was possible to do it on the PIX.

Thank you,

Lee

Ohh yes, switch would do this for you. PIX wont do it.
