Hi all,
Is there any way to find out ip address of the PC connected to particular switch port ?

Hi Rajesh,
There is no easy way to do so. This switch only monitors and records the MAC addresses observed on each port. If it is a layer 3 switch, then you can possibly observe the entries in the ARP cache to see which IP address maps to which MAC address.
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Paresh,
If you issue sh ip arp on layer 3 switch it is only listing the ip for the virtual vlan interfaces only not physical ports ?

'sh arp' on a L3 switch will show you the IP->MAC mappings for all devices that the switch has had to do ARP resolution for. This certainly does include physical ports to which hosts are attached.
