The GR-253-core generic requirements have redefined SONET OC192 jitter generation measurement conditions to 300mUI from 20kHz to 4MHz and then 100mUI from 4MHz to 80MHz. The current XPF spec states that 'The XFP Telecom module transmitter shall meet the requirements of both SONET GR-253 and Table 20', where Table 20 gives 100mUI from 50kHz to 80MHz as the conditions.

Is it likely that the XFP specification will be updated to reflect the GR-253 change - do Cisco and others want the XFP spec updated to reflect this change?
