Does BPDU-Guard cause an STP re-calculation?

I am enabling this feature on my switches and understand it only affects portfast enabled ports but are there any spanning-tree convergence issues when I issue this command on a switch? I don't want to bring down my lan from an stp perspective.

Any replies would be appreciated.

Ken,

I didn't think it would cause any STP reconvergence. I enabled it in a lab switch and didn't see any issues. Looks like you can safely turn on the feature.

Are you doing this in global or on the interface level? I have gone thought this for a network and did not have any STP issues at all.
