Pix failover problem. Stop sessions

My company primary pix firewall droping sessions (Not working). We took out the primary Pix and let the Secondary to handle the traffics. After ten minutes the secondary also stop working. (drops sessions). What could cause these two pix firewalls to stop working? Any idea please help. Thanks in advance.

Do you have failover bundle licence? If yes, then this could cause this problem. Because, the failover bundle licence will not work with standalone PIX.

Refer to the failover configuration documentation on PIX on Cisco web site.
