Any way to gather device (phone) Serial Numbers?

I need to verify my phone inventory with what is listed on our Smartnet contract. I have been told by a TAC engineer that there is no way to gather SN's other than finding the phone in CCM and clicking on the IP address of each phone in our CCM. The thought of doing this with 1100 phones sounds very time consuming. I'd like to get some advice from some body who has been in this situation before. Have you heard of or written a tool that could assist with this? Thank you!

The bad thing CCM database does not store SN so you can't query the database.

I understand the SN is not stored in the DB. I'm looking for a tool that will query the phones and pull out the SN.

ClarusIPC Operations has that capability in addition to other (very detailed) reports. It alos has very comprehensive IPT testing functionality.
