I need to extend my LAN to an out building that is approx. 3000 feet away. What is recommended to achieve this?

Any of the current bridges with directional antennas should be able to handle 3000 feet without any problems (as long as you have clear line-of-sight).
Something like a 1310 would be fine (as long as you have clear line-of-sight).
Good Luck

Hi,
As suggested correctoly by Scott go for 1310 Bridge with AIR-ANT1949 yagi mast mount antenna which has a range up to 2.27 Km @ 54 Mbps.
All the Best
