Hi,

Voip Network: PBX connected to Cisco3800 using NMHDV; router working as voice gateway.

When my extenion makes call thru Cisco, router sends the actual CLI (043664741)to other h323 router. I want this 'specific' CLI to be translated to another series 08718553333.

i have to use translation rule or profiles...but some how it is not working.. any help..

You could use a combination of a translation rule and a translation profile which then is applied to a dial peer, such as:

voice translation-rule 3

rule 1 /043664741/ /08718553333/

voice translation-profile profile1

translate calling 3

dial-peer voice 10 pots

translation-profile outgoing profile1

since its for out going calls, i guess should apply translation-profile outgoing profile1 on the 'voip dial peer' am i correct..

though i did that and tested stll translation wasnt happening place.

i am posting the config attached.

The translation rule looks good. Apply it to the dial-peer, as below

dial-peer voice 1000 voip

translation-profile outgoing skyi
