Upgrading to dfm 2.0.4

I have tried to install the patch witch upgrades from dfm 2.0.3 to 2.0.4, when the installation starts the install script starts it tries to stop the ciscoworks deamon, this fails,I can stop it manually, then the innstallation continues, but stops because the dfm db is running.

Is it safe to manual stop this services from services in the control panel.

Does anyone know why this happens?

I have stopped DFM and IPM from the services control panel before but as you suggest its a 'last resort'. Why dont you stop DFM from the processes window within LMS instead?

Yes I tried to stop the dfm server so thats ok now, it seems there are still some epm processes that still runs, I dont know in witch order to stop them I

am a bit concerned about the database. There are 3 processes 1. epm server, 2 epmdbengine, 3 epmdbmonitor.

Do the EPMdbserver stop them all?
