Hello, I am trying to get an E1 Q.sig up but the gateway just won't register with the Call Manager, here is the relevant config being used:
controller E1 0/0/0
pri-group timeslots 1-31 service mgcp
interface Serial0/0/0:15
no ip address
no logging event link-status
isdn switch-type primary-qsig
isdn incoming-voice voice
isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager
isdn bchan-number-order ascending
no cdp enable
mgcp
mgcp call-agent 172.23.2.5 2427 service-type mgcp version 0.1
mgcp dtmf-relay voip codec all mode out-of-band
mgcp rtp unreachable timeout 1000 action notify
mgcp package-capability rtp-package
no mgcp package-capability res-package
mgcp package-capability sst-package
no mgcp package-capability fxr-package
no mgcp timer receive-rtcp
mgcp sdp simple
mgcp fax t38 inhibit
mgcp rtp payload-type g726r16 static
!
mgcp profile default
When issuing the show ccm-manager command I get this:
MGCP Domain Name: AFIGW2821.yourdomain.com
Priority Status Host

can you post a screenshot of your CCM config?
i suspect that the MGCP name in CallManager is not AFIGW2821.yourdomain.com
You should either remove the domain name in the gateway or make it correct and use the full name in the CCM configuration.

That did it. Removing the domain name on the router allowed it to register inmmediattly.
thanks!
