Can i get DNS name ?

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong section...

I am trying to find an OID that will tell me the DNS name of a device attached to a switch port(fibre channel). Does anyone know if this exist ?

A "DNS Name" (cname (full canonical name) or A-record (alias)) is defined on a DNS server, not the network device itself. You ned to retrieve the device's IP address and then do an nslookup against the domain's DNS server to ascertain the DNS name.
