I am troubleshooting a vlan spanning issue on a 6513 switch and am looking for any suggestions. Here are the particulers:
Version 12.2(18)SXD3
monitor session 1 source vlan 69
monitor session 1 destination int g6/35
The traffic happens to be routed between vlan 60 and vlan 69, both on the switch. When I capture the traffic, it looks as though I am only receiving half of the conversation(from vlan 69-->vlan60). I don't see the other half of the conversation.
The strange part is, I have a half dozen ports on a connected 3750 switch in vlan 69 that I see all of their traffic. So I am looking to the 6513 for issues/problems.
Anybody have some suggestions?
Thanks

Haven't spanned much on the 720's is there a "monitor session 1 source vlan 69 both" command ? Usually you have to specify in, out or both as traffic directions..

By default, both directions are selected. When I do a show monitor, I get:
Type Local Session
Source VLANS
Both 69
Destin. Port Gi6/35
So, to me, that says that we should be getting both directions.
