Now i wan other end of the 3810 router to have a IP ADDRESS assigned by DHCP server.

How can i configure router inteface as DHCP client.

I tried IP ADDRESS dhcp command but it is notr working.

HI

ANANDANARAYANA.

Thanks for reply

Here i did my configuration on 3810-1.

Scenerio

3810-1-S1-----------------------S1-3810-2

Configuration-3810-1

serial 1

ip add 30.30.30.2 255.255.255.0

ip dhcp pool gms

network 30.30.30.0 255.255.255.0

domain-name gms.com

lease 5

ip dhcp-server 30.30.30.2 (ip address of 3810-1 serial interface)

If it is correct than what configuration should i do in other 3810-2 router to allow that router to obtain ip address from dhcp server for its serial interface.

Thanks

Dk
