When ordering call manager 5.0,If you select the

MCS7835I1-K9-CM50

HW/SW Unified CallMgr 5.0 7835-I1 Appliance, 0 Seats

Do you also have to order

LIC-CM5.0-7835-I1=

License CallMgr 5.0 7835-I1 Appliance

if you order LIC-CM-DL-1000=

CallManager Device License - 1,000 units

Do you also have to order the individual phone licenses e.g

Yes, you will need each of these. MCS7835I1-K9-CM50 is hardware. LIC-CM5.0-7835-I1= is software. LIC-CM-DL-1000= is licensing for 1000 units. You can order these from 10 to 1,000,000 units. As indicated in the following link, different model phones consume different numbers of unit licences. Individual phone licences are also required and typically purchased with a phone.

"Individual phone licenses are also required and typically purchased with a phone."

This is incorrect. Unit licensing in CCM5 replaces individual phone licenses. Individual phone licenses purchased in previous releases of CCM can be converted to CCM5 license units.

See this thread for a helpful CCM5 licensing discussion:

Great information. Thanks for the clarification.
