Anything special for configuring a SBC T1 CAS Supertrunk? All six channels show seized intermittent. I have to call telco to have central office reset the channels. Happens 2-3 times a day.

I had a problem the other night on my CMM where my CAS T1 line was showing 18 channels of the 24 "Pending"... it actually did not show pending until I "shut" "No shut" the port, then it popped up. I found some tech dock on Cisco's site to actually "reload" the whole card to get the channels to reset. Gateway reset in CCM would not do it. Reload only.

So you may want to try this and look at this fix

CSCef26431

Symptoms: Voice ports of a VIC-2E/M are stuck in "S_OPEN_PEND" state.

When you enter the shutdown command followed by the no shutdown command on

an affected voice port, the following message is displayed:

%C542-1-NO_RING_DESCRIPTORS: No more ring descriptors on recEive And

transMit 2/0/0. Msg id=26,Len=8^Z

Conditions: This symptom is observed intermittently on a Cisco 3745 that

runs Cisco IOS Release 12.3(9) and that functions as a gateway.

Workaround: Reload the Cisco gateway.

My bug was CSCsc11833

Replaced the PVDM2-X; that fixed the issue. Apparently some bad PVDMs made it out of manufacturing.
