Connections to VPN clients

Unanswered Question

Hi all,

We have some developers that have a application that connects to a mainframe system, informing it of an IP address and port number. The client then disconnects and listens on that port number. The mainframe then initiates a connection to them. They now need to demo the applications, but need it working via a VPN client. I have not been able to initiate connections 'to' VPN clients. I think my first question would be if it is possible at all?

Thanks!

Jacques

Hi Jacques,

Yes, why not!

You need to let the mainframe connect to the VPN Clients. i.e. you need to permit the traffic from that mainframe to the VPN Clients IP addresses pool.
