what happened when I enter the command "distributed-list"

Which table on the router or switch will be modified after I use "distributed-list" to filtering routing.


If I just apply this command to special interface, what happened?

distribute-list in (IP) Filters networks received in updates.


distribute-list out (IP) Suppresses networks from being advertised in updates.


distribute-list commands are used for the influancing the routing update...you can filter or allow the perticular update in you network
