Hi folks,

Well, I'm a little bit confused about all solution for bgp dual/multihomed load sharing/balancing:

1- MED / local pref

2- 'maximum-paths' and 'bgp dmzlink-bw'

3- OER

Could you help me to understand better?

Any advice will be appreciated

Regards

Andrea

Med or metric attribute is used for specifying a path for a prefix into our autonomous system.

Maximum- paths is the command with which we will specify how many routes should be installed in the bgp table to a particular destination. By default bgp installs only one path in it's table to a particular destination.
