CNA error

Hi,

I have CNA 4 installed and when I try and modify a port setting from the front panel view I am greeted by an error dialog.

(Error: Modify Port Settings

com.cisco.cpnm.features.def.port.data.ConnectionTypeData)

The switches (2950T-24/2950G-24-EI) all meet the minimum IOS version and this wasn't a problem in v3.1

The error from the log file is

com.cisco.cpnm.frmwrk.gen.dynamic.InstanceNotFoundException: com.cisco.cpnm.features.defn.port.data.ConnectionTypeData

at com.cisco.cpnm.legacy.networkdata.CommonSwitch.getInstance(CommonSwitch.java:1699)

at com.cisco.cpnm.frmwrk.net.ne.NetworkEntity.getInstance(NetworkEntity.java:256)

at com.cisco.cpnm.legacy.l2.PortConfigPopupTask.sendGetCommands(PortConfigPopupTask.java:1265)

at com.cisco.cpnm.frmwrk.gen.wd.WDContainer.sendGetCommands(WDContainer.java:615)

at com.cisco.cpnm.frmwrk.gen.wd.WDWidget$2.run(WDWidget.java:1160)

Is it something with my setup or a known issue that I am seeing?

This looks like CSCsd86791:

Eception occurs when Port Settings is launched from Front Panel View

Symptom:

A ConnectionType exception appears for some devices such as 2900, 2940, 2950,

2950-LRE, 2955 and 3500.

Conditions:

The error occurs when launching Port Settings from the Front Panel View.

Workaround:

Launch Port Settings from the Menu system (Configure -> Port -> Port Settings) instead.
