Are there any Broadband phones compatible to Cisco?

We have a few Execs who wish to use phones at home or on Vacation. The softphone's so far don't offer the best voice quality and we suspect a conflict with other apps as the problem. Also, when the computer slows down, so does the Softphone. I believe a remedy to the issue is to seperate a Windows based platform attached to the softphone from the far end and instead deploy a hardware based solution. Any suggestions?

A lot of IP phones are compatible with Cisco (if one can say so). First you have to decide which VoIP protocol your Cisco (and what is it - CCM, voice gateway) speaks - H.323, SIP, MGCP, SCCP?
