I have a 7941 in our school cafeteria office.
They are not always in there and would like to know if we could put and external ringer. I noticed that there was a aux jack in the back of the 7941 phone but not sure what it is used for. Has anyone tried to put up an external ringer?

Here's one option.

This device would need an analog port (ATA, FXS) for power. You could then make the DN a shared line with that of the 7941.
Hope this helps If so, please rate the post.

We have the same issue. I just configure an ATA with the same number and hang a ringer in a common area.
