Hi experts,
I 'm installing 2 PGWs 9.2.2 on 2 sunfires v120 (one disk on one sun). I followed the guides on Cisco Install guide doccuments.
The procedure I do :
1 - Install Sun solaris 8
2 - Install Patch CSCOh015
3 - Install MGC software 9.2.2
4 - Install Patch CSCOh013
I configured the parameters on XECfgParm.dat as the guides of Cisco for redundant system.
2 PGW status is : active and OOS (Out Of Service). If a PGW run first, it will get Active. If I stop MGC in Active PGW,and after restart it will be on OOS, the other will be in active automatically.
This is parameters I configure:
Parameter: Master---------------------Slave

the others is set as default
2 PGWs connected to SW 3500 Cisco via every eri0 of them.
I configured PGWs like: speed 100 and mode link: fullduplex
PGW A and B can ping each other
I check platform.log file on them.
This is log file in PGWA:

The Standby didnt' have any configuration. And pom.sync was disabled. Once that is enabled, standby was in Standby State.

David,
First, I would like to point out that 9.2.2 went (EOS) End of Sale in February 4, 2005 as per this URL:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vcallcon/ps2027/prod_eol_notice0900aecd8013f44b.html
Next, It does not look like you have the CSCO MGC patches loaded on your system.
Finally, it sounds like you have not confgured any DPCs or linksets in the system. If this is the case then the standby will not go in the STANDBY state but remain OOS.
Hope this helps,
Andreas

Thanks all,
I only connect 2 PGW sun server on 1 switch.
I haven't yet configured any DPCs or linksets.
This project is only used to test synchronize each other.
Thanks for your comments.
