I've noticed that we use MST and PVST in our network, is this a good way to tackle spanning tree ? ( I guess not ) and how am I able to disable MST and use PVST instead.

Also, what impact will it have if I change MST to PVST ?

Hello,

running PVST and MST at the same time is usually not a problem, just make sure that the root switch is the same for both. If you definitely want to revert back to PVST, you might want to plan some downtime. Remove the MST, and add the VLAN configs for each instance (such as manually setting the root).
