3750 stacks in cisco works

We are thinking of doing an inventory export form ciscoworks and sending that off to our maintenance provider once a month so they can charge us the monthly maintenance for these devices.

The problem I'm having is that ciscoworks doesn't see the serials or device types of other stack members in a 3750 stack.

I just need to send them a listing of all devices with serials as well as showing device types.

Anyone know how i can do a report from ciscoworks that can give me this info?

We have:

Common servers 2.2

RME 3.5

Campus manager 3.5

thanks in advance

Hi,

I am not sure but my experience is that sometimes in these cases getting the latest device update for ciscoworks helps.

Also check if it is available in an other more elborate type of report.

  • Cisco Employee,

As far as I know In the next version these Cluster

members are not supported in RME 3.5 IDU. The only way to get the devices into RME inventory is if they have their own management layer 3 IP address.

In the latest release (LMS 2.5.1) it will allow the devices to be managed by memberID when the stack

master device is added into the Common Device Repository.
