Unity 4.2 5-10 second silence before playing greeting

I have an issue with Unity when you listen to a new VM, external or internal.. everyone gets about a 5-10second delay of silence before the VM starts to play. I have checked all the normal items:

- network

- DNS

- switches

- NICs

- utilization on messaging server, unity..

- CCM TSPs updated

I have heard this might be a bug... anyone can confirm this?

VM only enviroment.

Turn on macro traces for MWI

Turn on Micro trace for Malex 11, 12, Phrase Server 10-14.

Click on "start new logs"

Check one vm during slow hours. Attach the AvCsMgr, AvMsgStoreMonitor logs.

Is the exchange server in the same SITE as unity?
