I know that the NAC appliance along with the agent installed can check for a few different things to include registry settings and files.
Does anyone know how to detect an enabled wireless NIC on a host to base policy compliance?
Thanks,
Mark

What version are you using?

I am not currently using the NAC Appliance. This is for research at this point. Being able to detect and apply policy to end hosts that have been identified as having wireless enabled/in use/etc would be very benefitial.
What I am looking for is a way of using the NAC appliance in L3 mode to detect wireless enabled NICs on a remote PC. I am not sure which inspection feature of the NAC appliance could be used, or if it is possible at all. If it is possible, I would assume that the NAC agent is necessary on the remote PC.
Any help would be appreciated.
