I am seeking information on using VPN tunnels as Backup for FR. The FR shots are Point - Multipoint and each location has its own vpn to HQ also. I was hoping to use dialer-watch or similar. Any suggestions?
Sprintlink FR L2TPv3 network. Fully meshed but looks PTP as each office connects to the other. Each site has a 2561 connecting to HQ with a 3640. Some sites have a 6509 or 6006 behind that. Most use a 3000 concentrator for VPN but a few use a PIX. All IPSec and various providers. Some have seperate Internet shots. I know, I know..seems a waste, but I did not create it! :)
One more thing....we also have VOIP, so QOS gets nixed when we have an outage. Voice still makes the cut, but not very high quality. The PBX is Altigen, so it can not be tweaked, but I suppose we could try to find a way to implement QOS on the VPN.
