PIX Licensing

I know this can be a really complex topic, but in general, how does a user actually consume a license on a PIX? And, if I have a 10-user license, and they are all consumed, what happens when user 11 tries to make a connection?

Thanks much!

Hi

AFAIK it drops the new connections once it reaches the license limit.

In other words, the number of users is equal to the number of private IP addresses that the inside interface can deal with.

So number 11 will be ignored based on a first come first served approach.
