Help.
We have a new installation of LMS 2.5.1, it almost works fine accept for ANI server is very very reluctant to start.
When trying to access Topology Services (etc) you get the "Aniu server is not running" message, checking in Admin /processes its shows the ani services as running.
Anybody got any idea's ??

Have you tried a pdterm/pdexec on the ANIServer process? how about restarting the daemon manager?

Do you have a multi-homed machine?

Good point...if you do, make sure you have the GateKeeper.cfg file configured

I feel your pain! EXACT same thing happens to me nearly everytime I've ever re-booted the server. What "seems" to work is executing another program in Campus Manager such as User Tracking.

Does campus manager eventually start ANI after a 10 - 15 minute wait? Or even after 1- 2 hours is ANI still 'starting'? If ANI just takes a little while to start that's normal, with anymore than 100 devices it's expected (just annoying).
