Hi I'm trying to implement this feature, but it seems to be working backwards. I've setup the softkey template on myself, however if I'm on the phone and I receive another phone call, I hit the Ivert button, then the person who I was talking too is sent to VM, instead of the new call. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

James:
When iDivert is selected it can function both as an immediate feature for new calls and to divert calls-in-progress. For stacked calls and call waiting try selecting the call from the toggle menu on the phone prior to diverting it.
See the features and services guide for more information (this one is for CCM 4.1(3)):

Hi James,
This can be expected behaviour depending on the Softkey template. Have a look at the following;
Because the iDivert softkey does not automatically get configured in a softkey template, use the Softkey Template Configuration window in Cisco CallManager Administration to configure the iDivert softkey in any available softkey template. You can configure the iDivert softkey in the following call states:
Connected
On hold
Ring in
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note The ring-in state in the softkey template represents the call-offering state in the phone call state.
From this good doc;
Cisco CallManager Features and Services Guide, Release 4.1(3)
Immediate Divert
Assign the iDivert softkey to the Standard User or Standard Feature softkey template. Assign the softkey in the Connected, On Hold, and Ring In states.
Softkey Template Configuration
Hope this helps!
Rob
