"The backbone is a specialized area connected to all other areas, it contains network not held within another area, and distributes routing information between areas. You can think of the backbone as the "master" or "root" area. It address is always 0.0.0.0. All OSPF networks must have a backbone area" MUST have one with address of 0.0.0.0? Do I need to configure it? Or it is just a background process? How it works? How to configure? Is the backbone the same as area 0?
