Greetings,
I have a 1841 series router with the following IOS on it:
Cisco IOS Software, 1841 Software (C1841-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(3d)
From what I can tell, this IOS version requires DRAM (128)/ Min Flash (32)
Thr router has the following memory configuration:
Cisco 1841 (revision 6.0) with 237568K/24576K bytes of memory.
Processor board ID FCZ102220H2
2 FastEthernet interfaces
2 Virtual Private Network (VPN) Modules
DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity disabled.
191K bytes of NVRAM.
62720K bytes of ATA CompactFlash (Read/Write)
I would like to move to another IOS image that appears to require more memory/flash.
The IOS that I want to load is:
c1841-advipservicesk9-mz.12.4-9.T1.bin
This IOS requires memory of DRAM (192)/Min Flash (64)
Could anyone explain:
-Would the new image successfully load onto the existing router?
-Will the router be able to be memory upgraded? Im assuming the Flash could be changed from a 32MB to a 64MB or 1228MB card.
-What is the best place to get flash upgrades?
TIA
Charlie
