SRST & Fallback

We are having a issue with our Cisco 2811 VoIP routers (C2800NM-SPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.3(8)T8). SRST works fine when we initiate a fall back by brining the circuit down. However, if we initiate a power failure or reload the router it will use the dial-peers intended for fall back instead of MGCP. The router registers properly with CCM v 4.1(3)SP1. So when you call it rings once then goes to fast busy.

MGCP:

dial-peer voice 999010 pots

application mgcpapp

port 0/1/0

!

FALLBACK:

dial-peer voice 9901 pots

incoming called-number .

port 0/1/0

What would cause the router to use the fall back dial peers instead of the MGCP dial peers? Thanks!

Use only 1 dial-peer, when mgcpapp is not available it will fallback to default app, in this case H323,

So you only need sth like this:

dial-peer voice 999010 pots

incoming called-number .

application mgcpapp

port 0/1/0

!
