We are seeing a very strange issue in our WLAN setup. Our access points hang or reboot randomly. We have WLAN controller 4402 with 25 Cisco 1020 Access points. Our syslog server shows for some access points rebooted. While others just hang and then come back online after 10-15 minutes. We have similar code 3.2.78.0 running at other sites and everything seems to be stable, therefore we do not want to upgrade or install a new code. Any suggestions, or help will be highly appreciated by the experts.
Thank you
Ismail

Do you find any errors being generated ?

The errors we saw were "[ERROR] spam_lrad.c 1840: AP 00:0b:85:66:77:88 associated. Last AP failure was due to Configuration changes, reason: did not get join response"
We called Cisco TAC, got the case escalated to the highest level possible, till we got hold of the actual developers of the code. Gave Cisco engineers the Sniffer packet information of the wlan controller and AP.
Finally Cisco engineer found a bug in the code 4.0.179.8 The bug will be fixed in the next release.
Thank you

Sorry I forgot to mention we had to upgrade the code at our site from 3.2.78.0 to 4.0.179.8 Which ofcourse did not solve the issue.

Hi Ismail,
I didn't see any DHCP info above, but we ran into a problem when our server was reconfigured to hand out all the IP addresses in a subnet vice reserving the IPs for the controller and other static devices. We had an AP with the same IP as the controller and it looked like the WLAN was doing the wave as the APs bounced up and down.
Cheers!
