vpn tunnels

Hi all , when creating vpn tunnels across the web between 2 sites, do I have to let the wan ip of the remote site have full access ,or does the set peer command aloow it through, where do you define what networks are allowed in through your vpn ?

Hi


If you are configruing IPSEC then the interesting traffic which you define using access-list will take care of encrypting the networks required to be passed on VPN.


If you are configuring simple GRE tunnel then just a static route pointing via the GRE tunnel will route the required networks via the GRE tunnel..
