Solved: NM-2CE1T1-PRI module not able to be detected on C3640 module

Hi,

I have a problem here when i connect this module NM-2CE1T1-PRI to a C3640 Model(C3640-JK9S-M) , IOS ver 12.1,

I got this error:

Unsupported I/O Controller (type 926) in I/

O Bay. The I/O Controller network interfaces will be unavailable.

WHat is this due to ?

You need atleast 12.3 or 12.3T for this module to be supported on 3600 router.

What version of IOS you have ,I think the software you have not compatible with hardware

Hi, I ran into this exact problem about 6 months ago. You will need the older NM, which is NM-2CT1-CSU, or the 1 port NM to work in the 3640..These are end of sale, so you will have to find one refurbished.
