Is the 878 router compatible with the 828?

Is it possible to connect an 828 router on one end and an 878 on the other using G.SHDSL? I understand that the G.SHDSL interface of the 828 uses 2 wires, while the 878 uses 4 wires.

Our company uses quite a number of 828 routers and we are looking to purchase some spares in case some of them go faulty. However, we've been told that the 828 is no longer available. Thanks.

In that case try using the Cisco 828 and SOHO 78 G.SHDSL routers offer back-to-back capabilities that make them the ideal cost-effective solution for connecting small offices in limited G.SHDSL deployments.Refer the URL
