VoIP and Fax machines

Hi

Brand new VoIP network. How to connect analogue fax machines? What adaptors does anyone reccomend?

FYI it is an Alcatel OmniPCX PABX with Cisco 6506 core and 3750PoE edge switches.

hi

if you are using a cisco call manager you can connect analog fax machine by the help of ata 186/188 device.ata device will convert digital to analog signal and vice versa.

I think you have to go to Alcatel forum since your call control is Alcatel.
