You can configure instead of a Softkey a Phone Button, (Where Speed Dials and DNs are configured)

Under CCMAdmin | Device | Phone Button Template | Customized one | Select Service URL under one of the buttons.

Assign that Phone Button template to the phones.

Create a new IP Phone Service | Called it Directory, use IP Phone Directories URL

(http://W.X.Y.Z/CCMCIP/xmldirectoryinput.asp)

Subscribe the IP Phone to the Directory service.

Then Add/Update Service URL Buttons in the IP Phone, and you are done.
